MEET THE FOUNDER

Janice Braunstein took her first ceramics class in the early 90’s and instantly felt connected with the forgiving nature of working with clay. The ability to create, re-create, and most importantly play brought out a side of her she couldn’t always express in her day-to-day life as a healthcare worker and mother of 3.  

She spent the most of her time working in community art centers learning from an array of different professional potters as well as developing her own personal style and form of expression.

Braunstein Ceramics was established to share Janice’s passion for practical, functional, and beautiful designs.
